LYD 103DU Customer Integrated Unit Meter
Introduction
LYD 103DU Customer Integrated Unit Meter is a standardized User Interface Unit designed for use with various smart meters that support compatible protocols (such as STS and DLMS). It connects to the meter via a PLC communication line, providing users with local data display, status indication, and an operational interface.
- Data Display and Indicators: the interface communicates with the meter to retrieve and display data. The meter's status is indicated by an LED, and alarms are signaled by a buzzer
- Parameter Configuration: meter parameters are configured using function short codes
- Token Entry: a 20-digit token is entered to recharge or manage the meter
- CIU Communication and Power: the CIU communicates with the meter via PLC. It is powered by 230V AC mains, which is its primary and preferred power source
- Optional Security: an optional device binding feature between the CIU and meter enhances communication security
